About the Speaker
Helen Russell is the Chief People Officer at Rivian, the $18B+ automotive technology company that hit the public markets in 2021. Prior to Rivian, Helen has led the People function at companies including Atlassian, Sonos, and Yahoo.
In this session, Helen tells the story of how Rivian grew from 1,000 to 10,000 employees between 2020 and 2022. During that time, the challenge was to preserve what was core to their culture, the very essence of who they were, through the implementation of programs and practices. Helen covers a series of lessons, and frameworks that were infused through everything Rivian did during this time of hyper-growth.
